Life can be hard
We all have times when we just need a helping hand to get through difficult circumstances. Some of these trials are caused by our choices, as we reap the consequences of our decisions, but other times the trials are sent by God and meant to strengthen our faith. Sometimes we are confused or depressed or struggling in one area of life, and don’t know why. Now might be the time when you need someone to encourage you from the Bible.

Faith Fellowship Biblical Counseling Center (FFBCC) is an extension of Faith Fellowship Church, and affiliated with the Fellowship of Biblical Counselors. We offer Biblical counseling that is based on the Word of God as the final and supreme authority of the church and every Christian, and the sufficiency of Scripture in Christ as the guarantee and provision of all that man needs for life and godliness.
Maybe your life is hard just now, and it would be a good time for someone to encourage you from the Bible. Simply call (716) 759-0591, and leave a message that you’d like an appointment.

How do I get help?
Free Biblical counseling is available for all who are searching for help. Simply call (716) 759-0591 to make an appointment, or email [email protected].  You will be encouraged to attend FFC services because more than being a church that simply offers Biblical counseling, we are a church that seeks to minister love and hope in every relationship.
Common questions asked by those interested in Biblical counseling

Is there any hope for this to work?
God has given us all we need to know Him and to live in a way that is pleasing to Him. While all of our difficulties may not evaporate, when a person willingly submits to God's instructions and clings to His promises there is hope and help. Many of our counselees see significant progress in 8-12 weeks.
What kind of concerns do people that come for counseling have?
We see folks with many kinds of problems, such as the common areas listed below:
  • Marriage crisis
  • Premarital concerns
  • Addictions
  • Sexual sins
  • Personal matters for career and life direction
  • Dealing with emotions such as: worry, depression, anger
In all cases, we use the Bible, God’s Sufficient Word, to answer the problems of life.

Are the counselors qualified and when is counseling available?
All of our counselors, whether they are pastors or laypersons, go through a rigorous training program in biblical counseling. FFBCC requires counselors to be either certified (or in the certification process) through the Fellowship of Biblical Counselors (FBC).  Most of our counseling is done on Mondays, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, but other arrangements can be made.

What does it cost?
Since Faith Fellowship Church provides the facilities and administration, and the counselors volunteer their time, we can offer biblical counseling free of charge. However, we ask that you be faithful to the time you commit to when you schedule your appointments. Also, we ask you to be honest. It is very difficult, if not impossible, to help you without honesty. We also ask you to do weekly homework assignments that will encourage lasting change.

What can I expect from FFBCC if I come?
First of all, you can expect that everything will be held in strict confidence except where, in the counselor’s judgment, there is a biblical requirement to involve others (e.g. criminal activity).  Second, you can expect that our staff will care for you and treat you with respect. Third, you can expect our staff to encourage you in your successes and exhort you to think and behave in a way that pleases Jesus Christ.
