Luke 4:18-19 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those
who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.”

Jesus’ first use of Scripture to the public after enduring the temptation in the desert is a quote from Isaiah 61.
He reveals that He is here to give hope and to make possible a way to have a relationship with our Creator. When we have a relationship with Christ we are fulfilled in every way. We want our children to search for
that relationship rather than attempt any other way to find fulfillment. Because of this we look to Christ in each passage we study.  Our curriculum is from Answers in Genesis & Awana. This gives our children a great head start in learning the inerrancy and infallibility of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation.  

We have several times during the week that the children have specific age-oriented teaching times.
On Sunday mornings beginning at 10:00 am there is Jr. Church during the worship service for all ages.

These are split up into infants and toddlers (0-3 years old), Pre-K to K (3-5 years old), 1st grade to 3rd grade, and a 4th grade to 6th-grade classes.  On Wednesdays, we have Awana! Awana starts at 6:00 pm and finishes at 7:30 pm at the conclusion of the Share & Care (Adult Bible Study) in the Sanctuary.

We pray that we steward the children God has gifted to us well,

that they may grow in the Lord and advance His eternal Kingdom during their lifetime.

All who serve in Children's Ministry are required to go

through a background check as well as child protection training.

We strive to work alongside and partner with parents as we count it a privilege to be a part of the process of teaching and training the children in our church.
